REVIEW: Firebrand

Reading Time: 2 minutesJulie d’Aubigny is one of the most scandalous and fascinating characters throughout French history. So it’s only fitting that she gets her theatrical due, presented here as an Act 1 workshop. Written by Merrilea Ettia and Robbie Hébert, this is clearly an ambitious project, and one which requires an abundance of imagination to fill in the gaps.

REVIEW: Mamma Mia!

Reading Time: 3 minutesMamma Mia! at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow is the kind of show that reminds you exactly why  musical theatre is so special. It is joyful, energetic and completely unapologetic about having a good  time. From the moment the first ABBA song begins, the atmosphere in the theatre changes, and by  the end, there was very little chance of anyone leaving without a smile on their face.
