“Disney, Drag and Diva’s, what more could you want?”

Villains is the sister show to last year’s fringe smash hit Once Upon A Parody and it’s just what the doctor ordered.

Sharp wit and fabulous reveals ooze from this show, throw in a spoonful of aussie charm and a dash of insults and we’re off.

The show is slick, with fantastic lighting and costumes that I’d wear to any Torture Garden party. There’s a few stumbles over lines but the cast are such pro’s the audience don’t notice, or care. We’re all here for a good time and that we have.

Peppered with political morals that sometimes feel a little on the nose the show definitely has an agenda, no more so when introducing the worst disney villains, the princes!

What I’d really love to see in next iterations of this show is a live band – often the keys of songs don’t necessarily compliment the impressive vocals. An issue solved with a transposed score!

Either way – I had a ball and it’s definitely a drag favourite at fringe.
