Following sold-out performances and critical acclaim across the UK, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, KAREN returns to London from Tuesday 18th to Sunday 23rd March 2025 at The Other Palace Studio.

Sarah Cameron-West stars in this uproariously funny one-woman show, delivering a whirlwind of heartbreak, humor, and workplace chaos. After an unceremonious birthday breakup, the Protagonist discovers her ex-partner is now dating her office nemesis, Karen. What follows is a bold exploration of feminine rage, repressed emotions, and self-discovery, wrapped in a hilarious narrative that shatters the fourth wall and invites audiences directly into the action.

Described as a modern-day Bridget Jones with a younger twist, KAREN’s sharp, witty script dives into the chaos of relationships and workplace politics while exploring empowerment through emotional honesty. Directed by Evie Ayres-Townshend, the show continues to receive widespread praise for its originality and captivating performance style.

Sarah Cameron-West, known for her work in Anansi Boys (Amazon Prime) and Walk Home (Josie Copeland), masterfully brings the Protagonist’s rollercoaster of emotions to life. With a mix of pent-up rage, sarcasm, and heartfelt vulnerability, Cameron-West draws audiences into a relatable and side-splitting journey of healing and self-acceptance.

Speaking about the show, Cameron-West shares: “KAREN highlights the struggle of the universal experience of heartbreak. We watch our protagonist deflect her emotions through humour and sarcasm; however, we come to understand that the only real way to heal is by tackling your emotions head-on.”

Don’t miss this critically acclaimed comedy returning to London for a limited run—an unforgettable evening of laughter, honesty, and powerful storytelling.
