REVIEW: The House We Inherit

Reading Time: 2 minutesThe House We Inherit is a hard hitting play with a lot of tough themes. I feel all of the actors handled the plays subject matter really well and sensitively. The writing in this piece was lovely from Sarah Majland - it was funny and lighthearted when it needed to be and this made the darker themes hit that much harder. This allowed the audience to take in what was happening much more easily. The writing style felt very natural, there was so much truth in the way these siblings spoke with one another. It resembled the the real elements of what family estrangement looks and feels like. Everything in this piece was very intentional and clever.
