So often the experience of care work is hidden, an experience we hope we never have to go through. Care homes are places out of sight and mind, until there’s no choice but to cross the threshold. Care is an unflinching, raw look at that world, and what it is like for all sides of the journey; resident, carer, child, grandchild.
