REVIEW: Stuart Michael – Psychic Medium

Reading Time: 2 minutesCatching him at the Wonderville in London we were introduced to Stuart and his childhood gift of being able to see with the mind’s eye, and for this show Stuart uses his extraordinary abilities to connect with the spirit world. Walking around the audience and being intuitively drawn to members he claims he will bring forward direct messages from the other side.

REVIEW: Mustard

Reading Time: < 1 minuteMustard is an extraordinary theatrical experience that takes audiences on a captivating journey through the depths of heartbreak and obsession. Eva O'Connor delivers a powerful and intense performance, infusing the production with a condiment-fuelled narrative that lingers in the minds of spectators.

REVIEW: At Birth

Reading Time: 2 minutesAt Birth opens with us meeting Anna and Isaac, at home, drinking wine, and discussing their earliest childhood memories. We learn both of them are queer as their discussion moves onto their recent breakups which both of them still seem to be getting over.

REVIEW: Cell Outs

Reading Time: 4 minutesPrison chatter, the sound of officers communicating via their radios and cell doors closing rings through the speakers. Troup and Church seem bored or fed-up, but begrudgingly scan the audience as if we are the prisoners that they just need to watch over for a few more minutes before finally getting to clock-out after a long shift.

REVIEW: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Reading Time: 2 minutesThe Liverpool Empire played host to BOST's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this weekend from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th May. A musical adaptation from the Dahl’s and Hughes 1968 musical fantasy film production, this performance had something to please the whole family. As it was very kid friendly and had a little of everything from all-encompassing teamwork to a love-story, villains, dance numbers and even a flying car!
