“A magical hour of incredible clowning and comedy”

Every so often a piece of art will smack you round the face and remind you why theatre exists. This show reminded me of why we all should be watching two clowns in the basement of a burrito place at 1:45 in the morning. Joy.

Prosciutto (George Harris) and Arthur Vinegar (Euan Fraser) battle with drunks, chefs, hand dryers and yet it is the most engaging hour, we are on the journey with them completely.

They deliciously counter each other in style, with traditional and more flexible techniques used to bring out the laughs. From braces, to death the topics flow and the audience interaction gives the show more heart.

When it finishes the audience are on their feet – a standing ovation we didn’t see coming. Clowning definitely seems to be having a resurgence and with this duo it’s easy to see why.

It’s weird, wonderful and beautiful. Honestly I urge you to forgo some sleep for this raw unfiltered performance.
